Tenure-Track Ancient Philosophy

The area of specialization is Ancient Philosophy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of philosophy courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as a variety of courses in the history of ideas for the interdisciplinary Arts and Contemporary Studies program (http://www.ryerson.ca/artsandcontemporarystudies/).

The Clinical Center Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health invites individuals with MD, PhD, JD or other relevant graduate training to apply for its two year fellowship program. Fellows will conduct mentored empirical and theoretical research related to the ethics of health policy, human subject research, international research ethics, genetics, or other bioethical fields of interest. For a typical fellow, this research yields multiple articles in premier academic journals.
